History archive

From an idea
to a growing movement.

A dated record of sport, community support, organisational development, and public awareness since 2018.

How this archive was built

Evidence before assumption.

The archive combines UWRF’s public 2021 annual report, photographs contained in that report, federation accounts, and dated Ugandan media coverage.

Facebook helped identify the history, but older public posts are not always visible without signing in. Where a date or federation role could not be verified, the wording says so. Photographs are described from their documented context rather than used to invent a story.

2022–2024Archive still being consolidated

Regular activity and gradual development

Later reporting describes regular twice-weekly training and camps organised when resources allowed. Exact dates for every activity in these years are still being checked against original federation posts, photographs, and records, so this archive does not invent individual events.
